Once the fees are paid, they are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Fees paid for one student are non-transferable and cannot be applied to another student.
Parents are strictly prohibited from soliciting private lessons directly from coaches. Such actions undermine the academy's integrity and will not be entertained under any circumstances. All lesson arrangements must be made through official academy channels.
The fees set by the academy are final, and no bargaining or negotiation will be allowed.
Fees must be paid in full before the commencement of any classes or events.
Students must provide atleast 1 day’s notice for 1-on-1 classes and 3 days’ notice for group classes if they cannot attend. Failure to notify the academy within these timeframes will result in the session being forfeited, with no option for rescheduling or refunds. However, in the case of an emergency situation, requests for consideration will be reviewed by management.
Enrollment is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels. However, certain courses or programs may have specific requirements (e.g., beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels). Participants must complete the registration process and agree to these conditions to join any course or event hosted by Azure Chess Academy.
Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend classes regularly to ensure steady progress. Missing multiple sessions without notice may affect continued enrollment or eligibility for course completion.
Academy-Initiated Cancellations: Azure Chess Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances, such as low enrollment or instructor unavailability. Students will be offered alternate dates or a refund in such cases. Student-Initiated Cancellations: If a student wishes to withdraw from a course, they must provide notice at least 7 days before the course begins to receive a refund (subject to an administrative fee). No refunds are granted after the course starts, except under exceptional circumstances.
Respectful Conduct: Students are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow participants and instructors. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, bullying, or offensive language, will not be tolerated. Code of Ethics: Students are expected to uphold the spirit of fair play, honesty, and mutual respect within the learning environment, whether participating in games, classes, or events.
No Guarantees: While Azure Chess Academy strives to offer the highest quality of instruction and training, the Academy makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results in tournaments or chess rating improvements. Liability: Azure Chess Academy, its instructors, and affiliates are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries sustained during participation in any Academy courses, events, or tournaments.
